A while ago I posted about the disgusting scam that is PlayTV Canada. Well, “someone” has posted a follow-up to that. See Play TV Canada Has No Legs for further discussion of the fraud, and an in-depth analysis of one of their “puzzles.”

1 basket: 12 critters, x 4 legs = 48 legs in each basket.12 baskets of critters = 576 legs.Legs of 4 girls = 8 legs additional.Plus the legs of the driver. Total legs, 586.So where's my fuckin' prize, Play TV Canada? 🙂

Wrong? Inconceivable!hmmm…perhaps I omitted the 'legs' of the bus seats then?Which brings up another entirely unrelated point: All of the calculators we use are made in China (along with every other fucking item under the sun). Let's say that the Chinese factories screw up the calculator logic chips and return wrong results. Man, wouldn't that be the ultimate prank?”You dummies! Cos(23deg) is 0.9205 not 0.9025! Look, your buildings are falling down because your calculations are incorrect! Joke's on you! Ha ha ha!”

I think I found the solution they were looking for in the linked blog post. (and both of us forgot to include the adult cats in our solution…should be 16 felines per basket)Hahah excellent point. You know, I would HOPE that any important calculations are triple-checked by hand and different machines, but you never know. 🙂

Cats do not have legs. they have paws. Therefore the answer is 8 legs. 4 girls with two legs each.
