I am of the firm opinion that the zombie walk phenomenon is the best thing to ever happen to the world. I’m so glad that London has one every year now. I managed to make it out yesterday, albeit as a puny human and not a zombie. Here are some pictures.
I love how every zombie had some twist or detail that made them unique. The girl above has a pencil sticking out of her neck, and that guy held the severed hand in his mouth the entire time.
The makeup on the one above was amazing. Every time I see a girl dressed as a zombie, part of me falls deeply in love.

I so wanna participate next year. I think by that time it won’t be so offensive to go as zombie Heath Ledger TOO SOON

I think this is my new religion.I love the anticipation that goes through the crowd when new zombies show up. I love how some people really *think* about their costumes (halloween has become watered down with people throwing on dollar store masks and calling it a costume).I love blood.

Hi! Thanx for blogging and taking pix!. All the positive feedback helps to conteract the negative feedback. It also helps to make the walk a more vital community effort. I loved that there were kids and families and teens and college kids and young adults and midleaged and older folks too! It really feels like we’re all in a living movie! (of the undead, of course!) hahahaha re your Heath Ledger idea. (I always wanted to have a Forbidden Halloween Party where you can dress as some of these more recently deceased newsmakers. Not everyone would get it so on must tread carefully, as you are apparently aware! Anyway, Happy Halloween season! —teresa
