I have discovered my new favourite band. They’re called Lordi, and they rock harder than any band has rocked before. The band is from Finland, which they represented in an international battle of the bands called the Euro-Vision Song Contest. Obviously they won, and were honoured by the president of Finland herself (who looks like Conan O’Brien).
Check out some of this critically acclaimed band’s work below. The first one is what won them the contest, but all the videos will rock your ass.

So, the cast of Warcraft won the Eurovision this year! That’s quite a feat. Usually it’s really bad pop.I was just looking at the full list of winners over the years. Anybody know how Celine Dion got to represent Ireland? It seems a bit of a stretch.

I only watched the first video and that was enough for me. However, I did enjoy the seemingly endless supply of monster/religious puns. You never fail to impress!

I love this! I can’t believe that a decent sounding group finally won the Eurovision Song Contest, I usually hate the type of music that wins. I love their costumes and vidoes too 🙂

The third video reminds me of that movie “Hell Raiser” when pinhead walks into the club and he starts killing people—by throwing cd’s at everyone’s throat. It was an awful scene. I am a horror movie junkie, and these videos were morbidly fascinating! Can a Christian like this type of entertainment? (heh)

I think their costumes are fun. I’m sure they’ll grow out of their need for them soon enough and just let their music say it all. Perhaps its an improvement on their natural looks 🙂
